Award Recipients Announced in Wednesday's General Session
The following awards and recipients were announced during the general session Wednesday morning:
John A. Baker Memorial Award for Excellence in K-12 Distance Learning: Allison Pierce, Education Service Center Region 13
Outstanding Commitment to Excellence and Innovation in Distance Learning by an Individual: Gerri Maglia, ESC11 Education Service Center Region 11
Outstanding Commitment to Excellence and Innovation in Distance Learning by an Organization: The Virtual College of Texas
Award Recipients Announced in Tuesday's General Session
The Don Foshee Award for Outstanding TxDLA Leadership recipient for 2007 is Jenny Jopling, UT-Arlington. Roxanne Glaser, Education Service Center Region 12 is the 2007 recipient of the Don Foshee Memorial Grant.
Unofficial Conference Registration Exceeds 800
As of 11:00am today (Wednesday, March 28), the 2007 conference registration count is currently 801 confirmed registrations with onsite registration continuing through tomorrow, Thursday, March 29. Last years final count was approximately 775 registrations, so this conference should set a TxDLA Conference record.
